Welcome to Rombouts UK Professional Website terms and conditions. Your use of our Website constitutes your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Rombouts GB Ltd reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without notice to you and any changes will take effect on the day they appear on our website.

Secure Shopping
 

With our Professional webshop you can either place an order using a credit account. If this is set up your order will be processed without the need for entering and credit or debit details. If you have a pay on order account you can safely enter your credit card or debit card number to pay for items on Rombouts GB Ltd Website in the knowledge that your personal details are secure. We use Magento to process all transactions via their secure servers. All personal information submitted is done so securely with SSL (secure socket layer) 128bit encryption.


Recent versions of most standard browsers support SSL encryption process. Occasionally a firewall or certain parameters of your browser can block SSL connections.


The padlock symbol will appear when you check out your goods this is added reassurance that your details are safe and secure.


Order Transaction

 

Once you have submitted your order you will receive an order acknowledgement email from us and if you have made payment by credit ot debit card you will also receive a payment confirmation email from us.

 

Price: All prices charged on this website are quoted in UK pounds. The price you pay for your order is the price which is displayed on the website. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or canceling your order. The only cost that may not be shown on the website is the £8.50 +VAT delivery surcharge for all orders under £50.00. This is a separate charge and will be applied at invoice. 


VAT: All our prices are EXCLUSIVE of VAT where applicable


Debit & Credit Cards

 

We currently take the following cards: MasterCard, Visa, Solo and Maestro


With all card payments we need: Card number (long number across the middle), expiry date, Issue number (if card has one) and Security code (last three numbers on back of card)


Your Right To Cancel

 

You have the right to cancel your order within seven days from receipt of the goods. We will issue refunds and credit your debit/credit card when the cancelled goods arrive with us by return postage. Delivery charges cannot be refunded.


To return any items, email us via our contact page ensuring you quote your order number. The items should be returned by an agreed delivery method.


Cancellation: Items Not Required

 

We endeavour to provide as much information on our products as possible to allow customers to make an informed decision for purchases. If however, you need to return any product, you may do so at any time up to 7 days starting the day after you receive your delivery. We cannot cover return postage costs. Items should be returned to us by Recorded Delivery or equivalent service. You can obtain a proof of postage at any post office, this is free of charge.



Incorrectly Supplied Items
 

If you receive incorrectly supplied goods, we will offer prompt replacement, refund or alternative item to the same value. Contact us via email within 7 days, quoting your order number, and we will arrange for the uplift of incorrect goods and delivery of the correct goods.


Defective or Damaged Goods


All our parcels are carefully packed by hand and should arrive in perfect condition however if for some reason the package has become damaged during transit we will replace or refund your order.


Please see ‘To return a damaged item’ (below).


Please ensure you inspect any goods prior to signing for delivery. Any visible damage whatsoever should be noted and the delivery signed for as damaged. If inspection is not possible please ensure you sign for goods ‘unexamined’ allowing us to lodge claims with our delivery partners. Damaged or defective goods should be reported to us within 24 hours of receiving the delivery.


To Return a Damaged Item


To arrange collection, please contact Rombouts GB Ltd on Telephone: 0845 604 0188 quoting your order number to allow us to find your details efficiently stating clearly why you are not satisfied with the goods. We will arrange uplift and inspection of goods. Should we, upon receipt of items be satisfied as to the alleged defects we will either replace the goods or arrange for a refund of the full value of the goods. Rombouts GB Ltd will incur redelivery postage costs for the defective or damaged goods.


We advise you return goods using special/recorded delivery or equivalent service. You can obtain a proof of posting certificate free at any post office. If you do not wish to post the item yourself, courier uplift can be arranged by Rombouts Coffee GB Ltd.  
Rombouts Coffee GB Ltd will not be held responsible for any uninsured items lost in transit, please ensure you at least obtain a proof of posting certificate, which are free at any post office.

Cancellation by us:

a) We reserve the right not to accept any order if:

- We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered.
- We do not deliver to your area.
- One or more of the items ordered was incorrectly described or priced on our website.
- The payment transaction is not authorised or your credit limit has been exceeded.


b) If we do cancel your contract we will notify you and will refund to you any sum paid by you to us in respect of the contract within 30 days of the cancellation of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.



Unforeseen Circumstances


While every effort is made to meet our customers’ demands, cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of an Act of God, war, strike, lockout, labour dispute, fire, flood, drought, or other causes beyond our reasonable control.


Law


These terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of England and Wales and any dispute, question or remedy howsoever arising determined exclusively by the Courts of England and Wales


Entire Agreement:


a) These terms and conditions together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and Privacy Policy & Site Security Policy set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of goods to you by us.



b) Nothing said by any salesperson on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods for sale by us.



c) Save for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, we shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.



d) Photographs on our website are for illustrative purposes only, and may not exactly match the product itself.



Disclaimer


Neither ROMBOUTS COFFEE GB LTD nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of this Website.


This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.


ROMBOUTS COFFEE GB LTD accepts no liability for any information or content contained in external third party websites which link to or from this Website.


Notwithstanding the a foregoing, none of these exclusions and limitations are intended to limit any rights you may have as a consumer under local or other statutory rights which may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of employees and/or agents.
