To ensure your Ek'Oh coffee pod machines continues to work well and produce high-quality coffee, it is essential to descale it regularly.
Even when a water filter is used, small amounts of limescale can build up inside the machine and should be cleaned with a citric acid-based descaling solution. A descaling procedure should be carried out at least every 6 months, more often in hard water areas.
If you don't regularly descale your machine the taste may be affected. It may also stop working and your warranty does not cover scale damage, so would be invalid.
This descale kit includes a bottle of citric acid based descaling solution, two plastic blank pods and full instructions for the Ek'Oh descaling.
